Smoking can lead to a wide array of health issues, including gum disease. Smoking does not do your immune system any favours either. This makes the healing process for your gums even more difficult.

Ideally, you should brush your teeth after each meal. You want to remove any food and plaque buildup. Brushing regularly is a key to teeth whitening.
